Sploot Veterinary Care - RiNo

Very pleased with my recent visit here. I adopted a new cat with an unknown background and they were very helpful in helping us figure out the care he needed. They were super nice and upfront with their pricing and recommendations with what he definitely needed and what was optional. I will definitely be switching my other animals veterinary care to here.

What a great experience! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and easy to talk to. The vet we had, Dr Mort, was reasonable, friendly, so sweet to our kitty, and helped us feel reassured. I can’t remember our tech, she had cute glasses and blue/black hair but she was awesome and friendly too! We had constant updated price estimates as we went along as well, so nothing was a surprise. First when we got there the vet tech essentially gave us a “worst case” estimate of the highest cost it could potentially be. After we saw the vet and she did her exam and chatted with us, we got another update about pricing. After some labs, the treatment plan adjusted and they updated the estimate again. I felt that everything we were being individually charged for was a reasonable price, as well. Most things individually were $50 or less. Also, I didn’t feel like I was being shamed for not being concerned with vaccines or flea control today, and didn’t feel like I was being upsold to purchase anything. Really a nice office too. The exam rooms were set up to feel more like a living room than a vet examination room. There are snacks for humans and pets, and toys in the room as well. Hopefully we don’t have to go back anytime soon for a sick visit, but, if we ever need to go to a vet again, it will definitely be here! Honestly a really great experience and would recommend to anyone!

TLDR: Sploot RiNo (and I would assume all locations) provide A++ care to pets, while I’m unsure if the provide care for critters other than dogs and cats, but if you are able I would recommend them to everyone. If I lived outside of Denver I would drive over an hour to continue my services here. I have been to 3 other veterinary clinics over the past year and experienced everything from a 2” long roach in the exam room to blasé care. My Mom is a retired veterinary technician, so I have pretty high expectations and Sploot blew my expectations out of the water. I brought my kitty in for an emergency on a night where my usual vet was not open. Their hours are catered to people who work full time and operate during later hours. If you have an emergency, they will see you that day (for a vet small nominal last minute fee that they discuss with you over the phone before your visit) and this fee saves you the astronomical emergency vet costs. I saw Dr. Cantrell for my first visit and she was amazing, charismatic, and passionate - I could tell she loved what she does. The entirety of the staff I’ve encountered has been lovely, personable, and genuinely caring. This includes the customer service over the phone is exceptional, and if they can’t provide an answer for you they will make sure that a doctor or tech will call or text you within 24 hours, and it’s usually within the same day. Dexter the tech I spoke with via text after my initial visit, answered all of my questions, and even provided a small story about his kitty at home. Above and beyond care overall. After every appointment they send a text to make sure your little love is still doing well. This text line is also always open to send photos, ask questions, or to schedule. And when in person with the doctors, they really take the time, to ensure you are the most comfortable with the care you’ve received. I’ve never felt rushed or like they had better things to do. And I’ve never waited more than 10-15 minutes to be seen. Needless to say I highly recommend Sploot.

Sploot provides exceptional care for my six dogs every visit! The team is warm, attentive, and addresses each dog's unique needs. The top-notch facilities and compassionate staff create a safe and welcoming environment. I appreciate the transparent communication and genuine passion for animals.
